Swim, Splash and Cool Off Near Palmer

Need to cool off on a hot day? Here's where to go!

Kids want to cool off, but not sure where to go? Here is a list of splash pads and pools in our area to take kids on these hot summer days.

We advise always checking with the venue when possible before heading out as hours and availability can change due to any number of factors, ranging from weather to staffing issues.


Splash Pads


Hampden Spray Park

Hampden Memorial Park, 495 Main Street in Hampden
Dates and hours: 
  • Monday - Friday: 2:30 pm - 8:00 pm (during camp sessions)
  • Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 am - 8:00 pm
Cost: FREE!


Endelson Splash Pad

Endelson Playground, 121 Main Street in Bondsville
Dates and hours: 
  • 10am - 8pm daily (during the summer)
Cost: FREE!


Swimming Pools


Quarry Hill Community Pool

Quarry Hill ECC, 43 Margaret Street in Monson
Dates and hours: Open swim schedule varies
Cost: 
  • $5.00 for Adults
  • $3.00 for Senior Citizens & Children 11 – 18 years
  • $2.00 for children 10 & under, OR 
  • Buy a book of 20 swim tickets for $60.00!


Andrew J Petro Memorial Pool

15 Randolph Street in Southbridge
Dates and hours: 11am - 5pm daily
Cost: 
  • Season pass — 
    • Family: $50
    • Child (4-17): $10
    • Senior (65+): $10 
    • Adult (18-64): $20 

  • Day pass — 
    • Under 3: free
