The Palmer/ Ware area is lucky to have so many great parks and playgrounds for kids. My kids have swung, spun, and raced through many of them ... and definitely have their favorites!
Here’s a list of our family’s top five favorite parks and playgrounds in {your town} and the reasons we love them:
Park name: Grenville Park
Location: Church St, Ware, MA 01082
Features: Fishing Area, Picnic area, big field
What my kids love: My kids love to fish and just run around to play tag. Not to mention more than enough space to have a picnic and not be in the way of other activities. They also have event all Summer long which is a big bonus for us
What I love: I love being in such an open area!
Park name: Miller Memorial Park
Location: Hovey Rd, Monson, MA 01057
Features: Restrooms, Water spray area, Playground
What my kids love: My kids love the water area. They are also always happy when we have mini family events there.
What I love: I love that there is a picnic/ BBQ area. I can stay there all day and enjoy my family time.
Park name: Well State Park
Location: Walker Pond Rd, Sturbridge, MA 01566
Features: Campground, restrooms, grills, boat ramp
What my kids love: My kids enjoy camping. This is a great place to do it. We love getting to know the other families.
What I love: I also enjoy the camping aspect. Unplugging from electronic devices it the best!
Park name: Flynt Park
Location: Park Road, Monson, MA 01057
Features: Soccer Field, Playground, Hiking
What my kids love: My kids love the play ground area. It is the perfect place to play Cops and Robbers.
What I love: The park is so clean. I enjoy the space to have picnics and just kick a soccer ball around.
